The local bus regularly passes by on the main road where there are local grocery shops nearby. A ten minute drive will get you to Seychelles International airport, and another ten minutes to Victoria, the capital of Mahe.

At the time, Devon Residence was in the process of expansion with several more villas being built. These were individually positioned on the hillside to remain secluded and unobtrusive in the tropical environment that is so important to the Seychellois.
