Banyan Tree Seychelles is located on Anse Intendance on the south coast of Mahe, Seychelles. It is approximately a 30 minute drive from Seychelles International Airport and about 45 minutes from Seychelles capital, Victoria. The hotel is situated in well kept, extensive, secluded grounds that front directly onto one of Seychelles finest beaches - Anse Intendance.
The famous Anse Intendance is half a mile of beautiful powdery white sand set in an idyllic crescent shaped bay. As there is no reef along this stretch of coast the waves are much larger than most of the other beaches around the island, making for a truly exhilarating experience. At times the sea is consequently more suitable for surfing than for swimming.

During the south-east trade winds though, the sea is really only suitable for stronger swimmers - best to use your villas private pool! The situation changes during the north-west trade wind season when the sea is much calmer and more suitable for swimming.

Banyan Tree Seychelles Hotel has a range of 60 large Victorian style deluxe villas each generously proportioned and beautifully furnished, ranging in size and position including The Presidential Villa.

Starting in the terraced restaurant, overlooking the bay, breakfast is an informal affair. For dinner, Banyan Tree has the choice of two fine restaurants. Saffron is renowned for its distinctive Thai and South East Asia specialities whilst Au Jardin d'Epices specializes in serving International and Creole cuisine. The Cocktail bar - La Varangue - is available all day and offers everything from a cold beer through to exotic Indian Ocean cocktails.
