A small but interesting swimming pool is located in an elevated position half way up the hillside in the trees, complete with a small sand pit for smaller children to play in when a full scale trip to the beach is not on the agenda.
Seychelles Belle Vue Hotel is very much the creation of local artist Gerard Devoud so as you might expect, the layout and design of the whole complex is heavily influenced by the creative side of the artists brain rather than being left purely to the computer of a fully functional architect.
The small, but excellent restaurant, provides an original range of international and Creole cuisine which is superbly enhanced by its setting. A small but complete bar alongside the pool - again in the trees - completes what is a very agreeable drinking and eating experience.
Being in a rocky hillside environment, Seychelles Belle Vue Hotel has no direct access to the beach so the pool and "beach" within the complex offer a uniquely relaxing experience, the like of which you will not experience anywhere else in the Seychelles Islands.
