Villas D'Or is a small exclusive development of just 10 luxury two and one bedroom villas.

Set in a spacious luxuriant tropical garden setting, which, incidentally, must be probably the finest maintained garden in the whole of Praslin, with direct access to the fabulous Cote d'Or beach alongside, Les Villas D'Or offers total tranquility and complete privacy.

There are two 2 bedroomed Villas and eight 1 bedroomed Villas at Villas D'Or all furnished and equipped to the highest standard. Even at the height of the season with a maximum of just 24 guests possibly being accommodated, Villa D'Or never feels in the least bit crowded.

Villas D'Or was primarily designed to be the premier luxurious self catering accommodation on Praslin but these days breakfast is offered as standard.

Although all properties are fully equipped for those wishing to cater for themselves, this small and exclusive resort does offer evening meals for those who wish to holiday without the desire to visit the local supermarket on a regular basis.

A small but adequate swimming pool is located amidst the gardens as an alternative to sea bathing.

Villas D'Or self catering on Praslin is very much the creation of a true horticulturalist and so as you might expect, the layout and design of the site is heavily influenced by what grows where the best!
For those wishing to venture out in the evening, the Cote D'Or does offer a variety of dining alternatives ranging from a fast food emporium to some of the most elegant and original dining experiences on Praslin. The Casino des Iles is close by.

There are several local stores on Praslin where provisons can be purchased for those wishing to experience creole food on a more informal basis.
Being on the shoreline of one of Seychelles best beaches Villas D'Or is very much a beach centred holiday. However, it is an ideal centre for exploring Praslin and the World Heritage site of Vallee de Mai; it is also close to the jetty for a day trip to La Digue and its famous beach at Anse Source d'Argent. Closer to home Villas D'Or is a short ride away from Praslin's other magnificent beach at Anse Lazio.

For those looking for something a little more strenuous, there is 4 star resort hotel a good walk along the beach where a wide range of powered water sports can be enjoyed. It is also home to the local PADI Dive Centre.
