Air Seychelles takes 5th Boeing
This weekend’s arrival of Air Seychelles fifth Boeing aircraft, a B767-300ER will mark 20 years of B767 aircraft operations by Air Seychelles, the national airline has announced.
The aircraft is named Isle of Fregate.
In a interview with The Nation, Air Seychelles’ Executive Chairman, Captain David Savy said that the plane will be used to open up new routes to Seychelles, serve as a back up aircraft to the current fleet and also add much needed additional capacity during peak times.
He also stressed the importance of ensuring that the airline be adequately provisioned and staffed in preparation for the continued increase in Seychelles tourism.
