Fantastic Praslin
A family Seychelles Christmas on Cote d’Or Praslin.
Hi David.
Good to hear from you, been back at work now for a week and wish I was still on the beach in Praslin.
We all had a great time during our Seychelles holiday. It was exactly what we wanted, Golden Bay Villas on Praslin was a beautiful location, totally relaxing and tranquil. The staff really need a special mention as Pierre and his staff, in particular, Sharon made our stay extra special.
Execellent, would definitely consider this location again, location, accommodation and staff were first class. The only recommendation that we would make would be to have access to a small grocery/amenities shop on the site.
Fantastic location – Beaches were beautiful and all that we expected – La Digue beaches amazing.
The admin and organisation was overall very good and reliable.Thanks. The only issue we had was that the ferry transfers wrt luggage were very chaotic.
I wish you and your family a Happy New Year and I will certainly call on your services again should I plan another trip to the Seychelles.
Best regards,
Mark

David comments:
The baggage transfers at the two smaller jetties of Praslin and La Digue do tend to be moments of high tension with bags being passed over the side of the ferry in both directions. Mark being the younger, fitter family man he is, was probably more able to handle the (apparant) chaos.
Although Mark did purchase our transfers, it does sound like he got himself a little involved - with hindsight, it is probably best to look in the other direction at times like these and let the guys who are paid to do the job get on with it!
Point being though, that elements of inter island transfer can be very much like an aggresive baggage reclaim at any large international airport - if you are at all apprehensive about conditions like that when in a cool air conditioned airport terminal building - then think twice before attempting it on the quay side in the full heat of a tropical mid day sun. Could be that the extra 10 euro may be money well spent!
